FED - Fachverband Elektronik-Design (trade association for electronic design)

FED, which is located in Berlin, was founded in 1992 to represent the interests of manufacturers of electronic circuits (printed circuit boards). It has taken up the challenge of representing the interests of designers in the business world, to improve their image and to promote specialist education.

ZVEI - Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie e.V. (German central association of the electrical engineering and electronics industry)

ZVEI promotes the development and use of new technologies by making policy suggestions for research, technology, environmental protection, education and science. It supports work on international standardisation which is close to the market.

IPC- Association Connecting Electronics Industries

Since 1957, the IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries? has supported the electronics industry through its peaks and troughs. With 2300 industrial companies as members, including developers, board assemblers, module makers, suppliers and system manufacturers, the IPC is the only organisation that brings them all together at an international level.

EIPC- European Institute of Printed Circuits

The European Institute of Printed Circuits is located in Holland and is an international service provider for the European interconnection and packaging industry. Since 1968, the EIPC has gathered over 125 members. These members are suppliers of machines and materials to the printed circuit board industry, makers of PCBs, providers of electronic manufacturing services as well as OEMs.

EITI- European Interconnect Technology Initiative e.V.

The aim of this initiative is to form a platform which allows the members to exchange information and experience in the area of electronic connection technology. It also pursues the objective of initiating research & development projects, to coordinate and promote them.

IMAPS- International Microelectronics and Packaging Society

The International Microelectronics and Packaging Society sees itself as a forum for everyone who is concerned with microelectronics. Apart from working in international committees, IMAPS Germany would like to track trends & the current state of microelectronics, presenting this at regional events, as well as encouraging the exchange of experiences and personal contacts between members.
