Series of articles on impedance
Demand from the market is increasing constantly to define impedances on circuit boards and for controlled manufacture. This is determined by the manufacturer's specifications for components with impedance-adjusted circuits, various standards for specified characteristic impedances in circuit applications, as well as special developments for standardised application interfaces.Working together with the magazine "Elektronik Journal" and with Polar Instruments, in a series of technical articles, CONTAG explained the theory of impedance control, an approach to define the optimum impedance as well as the manufacture of circuit boards with controlled impedance.
